 Textual Analysis Radiohead- They are an English rock group from Oxfordshire, who propelled to success in 1992, with their debut single 'Creep'. Radiohead stated that they wanted the video and song to be about the blaming of different people and the blaming of Muslims and the negativity of the refugee crisis. The music video is a non performance, stop motion animated video with a linear narrative about a inspector visiting a stereotypical village, which isn't all sweet and innocent it is making out to be. Initial Ideas

 Song- Mura Masa and Slowthai. Deal Wiv It. The idea of the video is to highlight the governments incompetence in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic and the economy. The music video will be a mixed approached as it will be a performance and narrative music video. The music video will work well with the song as the lyrics link to my ideas that I want to convey in the video. I want to dress my friends up as the politicians, that have dealt with the pandemic to create a satirical approach. I am going to adhere to genre conventions of a political and social protest video. This would include satire and comments on the real world and society. I will take inspiration from Childish Gambino's 'This is America', because it is a perfect example of a political and social protest video. Childish Gambino's 'This is America' Textual Analysis

 'this is America' is a 2018 protest song that conveys the views of what a black male thinks about America. It has received over 722 million video views on You tube. Ten Shot Textual Analysis The exposition of the music video shows the Childish Gambino shooting someone with a bag over their head. After this action a wide shot is shown to see the way that the gun and body are removed from the mise-en-scene differently. The gun is carried away carefully, showing the importance and value of guns in America. Compared to the gun the body of a dead black man is dragged away as seen in the background of a tracking shot. Gambino here is commenting on how Americans value guns more than lives. The music video begins with upbeat party music with a South African styling which has connotations of happiness and positivity.
